In light of news regarding the compromise of account information, we here at the gPotato Game Portal want to let you know that we take privacy and account security very seriously. We are taking every step to make sure your personal data stay private.
As of today, May 30th, 2011, the gPotato Game Portal is changing its password policy for all users. We are requiring all users to change their password. If you do not change your password by June 10th your account will have its password automatically reset to a randomized password. No other information will be changed, and all your characters will remain the same for all our available games. If you have any gPotato currency, it will also remain untouched. After the initial change, you will be required to change your password once every 120 days if you wish to continue accessing your account. We also want to remind you, and our more than 10 million users, that we do not retain any information related to credit cards, or other payment forms and all other information is safe with us.
