EU VAT [ December 9, 2010 ]

As of December 8, 2010 Gala-Net Inc began charging Value Added Tax to its EU member base. This is a mandatory tax imposed by the EU government for all merchants with customers residing in the EU. The rate assessed will be based on the rate of VAT for each country or region. As a result of this, all EU members will pay a higher price for gPotatoes.

To help our EU members adjust to the new rates, we will be giving bonus gPotatoes equal to the additional amount they are paying in VAT, in effect until December 31st. Therefore, EU members will still be able to receive 100 gPotatoes for every $1 paid through the end of the year.
